esg. Skills has managed contracts and delivered services though the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) and the European Social Fund across the UK for over 20 years.

Our main activities are the delivery of vocational skills provision to a range of learners and employment services to the long-term unemployed. esg. Skills provides an integrated skills and employment solution for disadvantaged customers. Our service provides a route out of social exclusion via the delivery of pre-employment skills, brokerage into sustainable employment and career advancement through vocational skills courses and accredited training and qualifications. We support approximately 40,000 customers a year to achieve skills and employment outcomes via a network of over 12,000 UK employers.

Within our contracts we deliver a comprehensive range of interventions including: Supported job-search; Job brokerage; Work placements; Volunteering; Skills for Life e.g. numeracy, literacy, ESOL; Confidence building and motivational training; Matrix accredited information, advice & guidance; Vocational qualifications including a diverse NVQ portfolio (all Ofsted Grade 2); Mentoring and advocacy support; Soft skills development; Pre-employment training; Sector specific skills development; and In-work support.
