The launch of Flexible New Deal in October 2009 brings in new approaches to welfare-to-work commissioning and delivery, that will affect the whole market, not just those involved in FND phase 1.
It is against this background that ERSA invites you to attend its annual conference.
This event will focus sharply on the key questions for policy makers, commissioners and providers, who together must make a success of welfare reform in the interests of customers and taxpayers.
The morning sessions will consider how best we can all pull together to improve customer journeys, manage the labour market challenges and maximise value given to the pressure on public finances. The afternoon examines our teamwork with customers.
ERSA lead members are planning sessions to answer how we can best support key customer groups who, for different reasons, can be furthest from the labour market. ERSA is working with stakeholders towards a customer charter that will clarify customers’ rights and responsibilities. The final panel session of the day will debate the key principles and update delegates with latest work on this important initiative.
This event is distinctive because, as ERSA’s annual conference, it will give you an unparalleled sense of the work that stakeholders are doing together to create better conditions for achieving job outcomes. You can form your own judgement of what has been achieved, what is left to do and how you can contribute.
We are still in the early stages of an ambitious welfare reform journey, please do join us for this conference to find your answers to the key questions and help shape the next steps.
